IQ NRW Teilprojekt: "IQ Anerkennungs- und Qualifizierungsberatung für Geflüchtete in den Integration Points Herford/Minden"

Initial Situation

Many of the refugees living in Germany have acquired professional qualifications and diplomas in their countries of origin which are urgently needed in the German labor market. However, in most cases, they need professional recognition to work in their profession.

We offer support in this process and provide information on the possibilities of professional recognition in the framework of the Law for the Improvement of the Establishment and Recognition of Occupational Qualifications Acquired Abroad (Berufs-Qualifikations-Feststellungs-Gesetz - BQFG Bund), which entered into force on 1st April 2012, and the Occupational Qualification Assessment Act NRW (BQFG NRW), which entered into force on 14th June 2013.

Furthermore, for those seeking advice who have no state-recognized training, but have many years of vocational experience, we offer a free consultation on the topic of competence assessment. For this purpouse, we offer an open consultation day without appointment on Mondays (except on the 3rd Monday of the month) from 09:00 to 12:00 and every Thursday from 13:00 to 15:30 in the Integration Point Herford.

In addition, this open consultation day takes place every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month from 1 pm to 3 pm at the Integration Point Minden.
